Our Team

Our FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team is a dynamic group of students who collaborate to design, build, and program a robot to compete in exciting challenges. Guided by the principles of STEM, creativity, and teamwork, we participate in annual competitions where strategy and innovation take center stage. The team emphasizes problem-solving, critical thinking, and hands-on engineering skills while fostering a spirit of gracious professionalism. Through FTC, we aim to inspire a passion for technology and innovation, preparing students for future success in STEM fields.

Avni Nagaraj
Software Lead

Avni is responsible for developing the code that brings the robot to life. She designs and tests the robot's control systems, from autonomous operations to driver controls. She works closely with the mechanical team, assisting in portions of the build process with her extensive knowledge in CAD design as well. Her expertise in programming ensures the robot performs tasks accurately and efficiently during competitions.

Shreya Rajesh
Business and Outreach Lead

Shreya is the backbone of the team’s public engagement and community impact. She connects with other teams, organizes STEM events and programs for kids, and set up outreach opportunities to promote STEM education. Additionally, she manages relationships with partners, and ensures the team has a strong presence both within the robotics community and beyond. Her work not only strengthens the team’s reputation but also fosters collaboration and inspires the next generation of innovators.

Suneet Patel
Mechanical Lead

Suneet oversees the design and construction of the robot's physical structure. He ensures the robot is mechanically sound, reliable, and efficient. He is involved brainstorming sessions, creates CAD designs, and supervises the assembly process. In addition to his technical expertise, he also contributes to securing sponsorships, helping the team gain vital resources to support their work. His expertise in engineering and problem-solving ensures the robot’s structure is optimized for competition challenges.

Annice Khadaroo

Annice assists in building and assembling the robot’s components. She works hands-on with tools and materials, ensuring the robot’s structure and mechanisms function properly. Her attention to detail and collaboration skills make her a critical part of the build process, supporting the Mechanical Lead in turning designs into reality.

Noah Scofield

Noah plays a dual role. He dedicates time to mentoring younger teams, sharing their knowledge and helping others grow in STEM fields. At competitions, he also serves as the team’s primary driver, expertly controlling the robot during matches. His leadership and multitasking abilities make him an indispensable part of both the outreach and competition efforts.
